Yeah most definitely… they give out plans to corporate companies… even salesmen (and women) at dealerships get discounts.
When you upgrade at the cheaper price (not retail.) then you are in a new 2 year contract. You won't be able to get the phone for $150 like you said without renewing your contract. And you are eligible to upgrade at that price if you are eligible for the new every 2 program. I think they have something new for their policy where it costs $20 to get the upgrade price as long as you have had the phone for 1 year. I'm not sure how that goes. But call Verizon or go to one of their stores and speak to someone and ask how much it would be to get the phone and if you are eligible for the upgrade price. Hope this helps

Ok first things first. You wouldn't be switching from a two year to a one year. You would be adding extending your old contract for a year. You can do this upgrade at any time in the last 90 days of your contract. You can also do what you said about adding a line and cancelling the main line when it is up. The new line would have a new number though. After the main line's contract was up you could cancel it and switch the other line over to an individual plan.
One other thing I want you to make sure you are aware of is the data plan. Any blackberry device on Verizon is required to have the 29.99/mo unlimited email/web plan (there are other plans but theyre more expensive and are for corporate users). This plan includes unlimited email and web browsing (and IM through the aim/yahoo/icq) but does not include text messaging (or Verizon IM).
